Many of the Ubunteros you will already know that the majestic best linux that exists, can be obtained from physical format and in original form from the website of Ubuntubut this tutorial is not for them, but for all those who are just starting out in the world of the adorable penguin or for those who don't yet know that this great operating system is also distributed in physical format.
1.- To begin with, what we need to do is to go to the official Ubuntu website.
2.- We will choose the option we like the most between downloading, buying or requesting a free CD, in this case, "Request a free CD". The downside is that it may take 6 to 10 weeks to arrive, but it is original and free, what more can you ask for.
Now we must determine whether we want a version for normal personal computers (Desktop Edition), or for a server (Server Edition). Don't worry, both options follow the same procedure as we are going to do now.
4.- In this step we will be asked for our password and e-mail address to be able to continue, if we have it, we enter it and continue, if not, we register and continue from here.
5.- After this, we fill in the data they ask us (Name, organization, address, city, province, postal code, country and telephone number) and everything is ready, we will have our original and physical copy of our Ubuntu coming to our house. As you can see I already have mine. There is a way to make a special order of more quantity, but it is not very recommendable because it takes much longer and they don't usually give you the quantity you ask for, nor the versions you ask for.
Note: This process is the same for different versions of Canonical products (Ubuntu, Edubuntu and Kubuntu).
