This is a small robotic hand I use in my courses to start introducing children to robotics, it is quite cheap and easy to make, I hope you are encouraged to make it and enjoy it.

As you can see at the end of the video, you can also use other materials such as conduflex or hose to make a robotic hand stronger or larger.
